I went to the Cyber Crime PS, Cyberabad yesterday and gave my complaint and the supporting documents, including the personal emails I received from 3 other victims, and the public internet blog posts by 5 others. He said they will look into the matter and that they will get back to me on phone in a few days. So I guess, for now, wait.

Meanwhile I welcome any other victims to contact me so I can give their documents too to the Cyber Crime PS. That will help to add to the seriousness of the matter.

I hope there are no more victims after I put this blog on google Adwords so anyone searching for 3gstore gets cautioned.

Sorry, I actually did not fly to Bangalore that day because I heard from someone that I should be able to sue them in the Hyderabad consumer forum itself.  So I had cancelled the flight, but unfortunately I had been too busy all these days.
I'm thinking if there is a way to report it to the Police instead of in the consumer forum, because this is really a criminal case, and consumer forum is for cases like faulty service, faulty product etc, not for robbery. But the problem is that the affected people are all in different towns so I don't know what the process is. It seems there is a Cyber crime police station in Gachibowli, I'm going there on 10/12 along with 8 other victims' emails to me or their posts on the internet blogs.

I'm flying tomorrow (03/11) to Bangalore for the case "booking", whatever that is. I'm also taking proofs of transaction provided by another affected person who contacted me, and try to add him as a joint complaintant.
However I'm not happy about just going to consumer forum, so I will also go to the Cyber crime police station in Bangalore tomorrow, with my own complaint and the printouts of complaints posted by other persons on the internet. I request any affected person to email me at kannanj@microsoft.com with any proofs of the transactions like
 Order page at 3gstore.in, or order receipt received by email.
 Any email conversation with 3gstore.in
 Credit card statement or Savings bank statement showing the transaction.
 Credit card statement or Savings bank statement showing the absense of any refund since the transaction date.

I can provide these to the police so they can take it seriously. I will check email during the day tomorrow.

The website www.3gstore.in  is run by a bunch of thieves. They are charging the customers who place orders, but are not actually shipping any product. They are not picking up the phone. I'm one of the persons cheated by them. There are many more people who have complained about them on online forums. I'm sure there will be hundreds more. We need to send them to jail. I have already filed a case in Bangalore consumer court as they operate out of Bangalore. The case "booking" is on 3rd November. The hearing date will be announced on that day.
But it is not really a consumer issue, it is a scam. So I want all affected people to join my petition so that we can send them to jail. You will have to travel to Bangalore. I travelled from Hyderabad to Bangalore for filing the case, and will have to travel again for the hearing. If the case succeeds the court will order them to pay for our travel expenses. I can even pay from my pocket for the travel expenses of a few people if they are sceptical.
